What this site collects about delegates and coordinators, and what happens to it.
Draft for the school to approve. This page describes what the site actually does. It still needs the school's sign-off, because most of the people named in this database are minors.
What is collected
From the coordinating teacher: name, school, city, email address and phone number. For each delegate: name, grade, prior MUN experience and committee preferences. From payment: a transaction reference and amount. Card and bank details are handled entirely by the payment gateway and never reach this site or its database.
Why
To allot committees, print placards and certificates, contact your school about the conference, and keep a record of the fee. Nothing else.
Who sees it
The delegate affairs desk and the faculty supervisors. Delegate names and committees appear on placards and certificates at the conference itself. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone outside the school except the payment gateway, which sees only the transaction.
Delegates are minors
Most delegates are school students. The coordinating teacher enters them on behalf of their school and is responsible for having the consent to do so. A parent or school may ask for a delegate's details to be corrected or removed at any time by writing to the desk.
How long it is kept
Registration and allotment records are kept until the end of the academic year following the conference, then deleted. Payment records are kept as long as the school's accounts require.
